Kimberly Hammonds


The American Cancer Society is honored to announce Kimberly Hammonds as the Raising Hope Honoree for the 2019 San Francisco Discovery Gala that will be held on October 5th at the Ritz-Carlton.


Kim has actively supported the American Cancer Society, raising over $5 million in the fight against cancer, and has been a tireless advocate for raising public awareness about prevention and early detection efforts. She was recently diagnosed with breast cancer for a second time and is currently receiving treatment.


Kim served as the Group COO of Deutsche Bank AG, served as the Group Chief Information Officer for the Boeing Company, and has also held executive positions at Dell Corporation and Ford Motor Company.


She serves on the Board of Directors of Red Hat, Cloudera, Tenable, Box and Zoom. She recently founded a company, Mangrove Digital Group, which provides technology and business transformation consulting expertise to Fortune 100 company’s CEOs and Board of Directors. She founded The Zoe Foundation in 2004, a non-profit organization that funds art programs for cancer patients in 15 cancer centers in the United States.


Kim resides in Florida with her husband, Rod, and daughter, Zoe.
